We're paying for their monorail

While I was on YouTube a few days ago, a notification popped up and being a busy person (cough cough) who doesn't have time for things like pop-ups, I skimmed it, registered it was about profile pictures and ignored it (since I don't use my own likeness anyway). But it seems this is what it was about, as Ruben blogged about this afternoon.

This means most people will have their likeness appearing in advertisements with this latest update.

Using us in advertisements? Nice idea, Google. By the way, how's that monorail carriage of which simply transporting and installing alone cost $250,000 doing for you?

I guess it just comes to show that continuing to not using images of myself for anything could be the way to go.
