Creativity in different forms

If PHP were British - code from post on AddedBytes

So this morning as I waited in the cold outside I read this post about giving PHP a more British spin which was tweeted by @yaakov_h who mentioned he felt tempted to abuse #defines to write code like that. Shortly after, Ruben blogs about making C++ functions so he can use Perl/Ruby(-like) functions in his C++ code. Did that make sense? I'm not a programmer, you see.

You people and your customisations!

I tend to use code as is because it's hard enough to learn anyway as is, let alone messing around with it, but it's not like I know a lot of languages or in that level of depth anyway. Artists are creative? Pish posh, I think developers are more creative anyday if you're doing these things with code.
